School Days...

School days...school days...these will be such sweet memories in years to come. Every day the Lord brings something out in my children that I hold dear to my heart. Isn't it also amazing when you or your children are struggling with something, He points out in scripture just what we need to hear? It seems that ALWAYS happens and my children are amazed!  The three little ones are working on their memory verse of the week. It comes from Ephesians 4:32...."Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another."  This is a keeper for all of us to remember when we get upset at each other!
It is so fun to watch the children grow into strong readers! Seth listens to all of the children read and his desire is growing to learn himself. There are days, like today, where I have to tell Seth that he has done enough "school work" for the day. Yesterday was the same....I told him to go play and take a break. He looked up at me with his HUGE smile and said, "I love to do hard things!" I asked him why..he looked at me as if to say.."I don't really know!!" I smiled at him and told him that I like to do hard things too, because I love to learn!! He gave me a great big smile and ran off!

My little family is growing up..."sh" don't tell anyone, but my (not so little) Garhett started shaving! He doesn't have a lot, but enough where he needs to. His dad showed him a few tricks-of-the-trade and he's on his own! I do have to say...I do believe...he has passed me in height! I have to look up into his eyes now! He is not far away from ol' daddy!! How do these things happen?
Well, I better get going. Thanks for the wonderful comments and things. I am trying to figure out how to add links and blogs onto my page. I will fiddle around with it tonight! God bless....
