Spring Again!

Sunday was the first day of spring and we are feeling so much better! This week has been back to normal. We are coughing a little now and then, but healing up just fine and dandy! You have nothing without your health!
Yesterday was rather busy, as is today, but I stopped to take a breather before I am on my way, (again)! Yesterday was the typical school day, then we went shopping for my niece's birthday...while we were out doing that I decided to try the house that I stopped by on Sabbath, but they weren't home. Our church sent out cards to our area, telling people if they were interested in Bible studies, to sign up and we could deliver! On Sabbath, I was asked if I would take one of those cards that were sent in and go visit the person. I happily agreed, prayed and picked a card "out of the blue". I was hoping it was a woman and it was!  So, the kids and I drove to it yesterday. We prayed and I went up to the house, while the kids sat in the car, "watching and praying". I rang the door bell and it was answered. I was surprised! I knew the person who answered the door! I shook her hand and asked her if we had gone to school together. She said, "Yes! I was a grade below you!" I showed her the card we had received and handed her a study/lesson. We chit-chatted for awhile, it was good and the Lord does work in mysterious ways. She was excited and asked if I would bring her the whole set of lessons this next week, so she could study on her own time. I told her I would, but also told her that I would be open to studying with her, too. She smiled and I could see her pondering the thought. It was great! I had to hurry home, to finish dinner for the kids, because when Rhett got home we had to go to our accountant and then to a Bible study we do on Tuesday evenings. All of that went well, we are doing a study on the book of Daniel with a family who has just been baptised into our church! It was very rewarding. You know....in trying to "save" others....we "save" ourselves..(well the Holy Spirit does!) This is true...when we are out working for the Lord, days seem clearer and brighter. We rushed home from that, to attend my niece's little birthday party. Whew! Today we have had school, violin lesson, two piano lessons and soon we will be on our way to choir, then a Bible study and prayer meeting! I guess we really did need to get sick for awhile, so we could slow down! I am so thankful for each Sabbath that comes! The Lord created our bodies to work six days and rest on the seventh...how intelligent this design is! I am thankful for it! God bless.....
