It's almost Wednesday already! We have accomplished so much this week, it's always nice when that happens.
The kids are all doing well in their schooling.
Garhett, is handling his class load well, along with a weekly Bible study, chores around here, church activities and family time. He's juggling it all, although we miss having him around!
Mitchell and Tori are having a great time in school. They are getting into interesting studies in history and they LOVE working together. It's so nice to see.
The twins are doing well. I can't believe how they are doing in Grammar. They are understanding and finding, prepositional phrases, subjects, verbs, you (understood). It's so fun!
Seth, he is coming along in his reading. So far the sounds, "d" and "i" have been the most difficult for him. He's so excited that he is reading stories now! Even if they only contain three words, it's a story to him, included with a picture! He is very strong in language and he's coming along in math as well.
As far as their music goes, Garhett isn't taking piano lessons, at the moment. He wanted to start college and get settled before he continued with that. Mitchell and Tori are continuing with their piano and violin. The twins started lessons last week and they are taking it very serious. They want to be able to go to the same music teacher as their siblings, so they have a goal to reach...by January!!
Seth, he wants to play an instrument. He will, when the time is right. Right now we are working on him being able to sing in the children's choir. He needs to have the confidence with that before he takes on anything else. So far, this has been difficult for him, but I won't let him give up! He is on the shy side and what better way to "come out of your shell"? Mitchell, was our shy one, but I wouldn't say that anymore. I do think it has a lot to do with choir and piano.
Onto a different note...if any of you out there would like to have a vegan cheese recipe...I have finally found it! Now, this is like a soft, cream cheese texture. It's delicious! It doesn't take a long time to make and it's good. Is anyone willing to share a vegan, harder version of the recipe? It would be nice to be able to have both.
I better get the children back in from play to finish their school work for the day! Then I have more grapes to pick and grape juice to make!!
God bless!
