March?!!!

Is it March already? My poor neglected blog, it's not that I haven't wanted to write...really! We have been crazy busy and I fall into bed at night...thinking about writing!

"Almost" spring-time around here is busy. This year seems especially so. We are trying to get the orchard whipped into shape before spring break. This year Garhett has a different spring break than the rest of us. It's a bummer, but that's the way life goes sometimes.

So, you can see we've had lots of orchard work. Pruning, brush, raking, burning, etc., etc.

We burned our last burn pile on Sunday. We managed to burn my mother-in-laws and my sister-in-laws phone wire in half. The fire was sooo hot, because of some locusts we cut down in the fall.  Rhett was burned pretty bad. I have him fixed up, but it's really soar.

Today, well..........my baby is getting braces! I can hear you asking me which baby!! Mitchell..........I am going to take a before and after picture. I will miss his teeth and his smile. The orthodontist is telling us that it will completely change his profile. His teeth aren't that bad, it's his jaw. Well, his molars don't fit his bite, he has an over bite and he has some jaw repair. I will miss that "little boy" smile! Why does time have to go so fast?

This is my day, today..........

Get Rhett and Garhett off to work and school. Get the rest of the kids ready for the day with breakfast and some homework. Get Mitch to the ortho by 8:00, leave him there for two hours while I come back and pick up the rest of the kiddo's. Take Tori to Violin lesson, pick Mitch up at ortho, take him to piano and violin lesson. Pick up Tori and go do a couple of errands. Pick Mitch up and go home to have lunch. Get all the kids back in the car to get my nephew, pick up a couple of kids for choir. Go to choir practice then back down to our town to finish the night off at prayer meeting at the church. Oh, did I mention fitting in the twins piano lessons?

You know.....maybe I should go back to bed!!!

I better finish making breakfast. I will try to post pictures soon!
