Hello!!

It has been awhile since I have written on my blog, or even looked at the blogs that I try to follow! Life around here has been very busy! I thought when our kids were little, we were busy, but now it's a different kind of busy!!
It has snowed the last couple of days...we thought spring was coming and we had been going on long walks, getting bikes and scooters out and then........snow again!! I think that's where the kids have picked up this terrible cough. Ellie, is feeling pretty bad today. We have so much planned for the weekend, but I think that I will probably have to for-go the plans and stay home to take care of her.  So, to catch up.....we've had the piano tuner come!! That has made a HUGE difference in practicing and talent around here!! HUGE!! The tuner is a great guy and the kids loved watching him. He did a fantastic job....Garhett took a few pictures of the piano while he was working on it....I didn't know it had so many pieces! : )

This was a piano that has been handed down to us, from my Aunt who passed away when I was seven years old. It is a family heirloom you could say. As you can see the keys need new ivory on some, but the tuner said, the ivory that's on there is very thick and we would have to order some to match it. I have a friend who took the time to take the ivory off of an old piano for me and the tuner said it would work, we could get by with it. I have a project ahead of me, don't I?

Tori also had her "bestest friend ever in the world" (as Tori states it) over for a couple days. She is planning on going to Africa and is doing a fund raiser, by making homemade bread! As you can see they had a lot of fun doing this! Even Ellie got in on it! They had a ball!!! I am so thankful for Godly girls that my girls can look up to and learn from!
We also heard some news this last week! My niece who lives in another state, who was married this last summer, is expecting! That is going to make me a Great Aunt! Wow, that makes me feel old!! Anyway, they called and told us they are going to have a ......girl!!  My girls were so excited to add another girl to the family! She is due in June, right around her birthday. She sent us the pictures of her ultrasound and it looks like she's sucking her thumb. It's adorable! God is so good to us and He is so creative!!
Well, I better finish dinner and the house before Rhett gets home. Grandpa Clyde came and took the two older boys to the gym. They will probably go visiting afterwards. I am so thankful for people who love children and take the time to be mentors to them! We are so blessed to have so many friends and family around us. May God bless you all!
