A Sunny Day!
We had a good night, my fever broke around 1am, but Seth woke with a high fever again and Mitchell is laying in my bed with a fever above 100. The day is so beautiful and so springy...even though I am coughing and not feeling the best...I worked outside in my herb garden, vegetable garden and my flower beds. We made really good headway. I would be out there still, but I was coughing so hard and Seth's eyes looked so glassy. I wanted him to rest, but he wanted to see what was going on outside! He is a tough cookie and even when he has a fever or he isn't feeling well...if you ask him how he is...his answer will always be,"Good...good." He cuddled with me for a long time last night when his fever was so high. I got to thinking...did he ever have anyone hold him when he felt like this before? This is the first time he has had a fever since he's been home. When he had the chicken pox, while in the orphanage, just before we went to bring him home...I wonder if anyone rocked him or sang to him or prayed over him. There were so many children, the workers were kind and gentle, there just weren't enough adults to give that one-on-one attention all children need. All children, including teenagers! Well, I need to go figure out what I am doing for dinner. God bless you and stay healthy!
