Wind...Flat Tire...Allergies....Just Rambling....

".....Okay....I think I will finally go to the doctor." I said to myself yesterday. But...I started feeling some better...then last night got worse again. This morning, during school, I thought,"I can't do this anymore! I need to go in." So, I drug myself into the "walk-in". Halfway there, I almost turned around. I don't like to be on antibiotics.....I am allergic to four different kinds. It's a good thing I went in, though. I went in mainly because my throat is soooo bad. He barely looked at my throat and said, "Have you ever been hospitalized for your asthma?" I said, "Maybe as a child, but not as an adult." He told me I had better take my inhaler, daily allergy medication and now this $80.00 antibiotic, or I would end up there! All that and my throat still hurts!!! Our pollen count is extremely high and people are feeling it.
My sister-in-law is having complications in her pregnancy. We are waiting for another ultra sound tomorrow and doctor's visit. I have a feeling they are going to take the child early. As of yesterday she had four weeks to go, so he would be just fine. My second child was three and a half weeks early and my twins were a month early and they were great! I know the Lord has a plan for my new little nephew and his parents. My prayers are with them all and my heart cries out to them.
Rhett, called and he has a flat on his Subaru. Last weekend I was driving and while going through an intersection I heard a loud pop! I told him about it, but the tire looked fine, without any punctures. I am sure it's because of this and it's a slow leak.
We have had our roof leak and our bathroom has had some damage because of it. Four years ago this happened (we have a sun roof) and the people who were "suppose" to fix it, didn't. Well, it started leaking again this spring, so we had to call our insurance again and we have had adjusters, etc. coming out and checking it out. We were thinking we would have to pay all of it, but we received a call and a check today saying they will cover damages! Praise the Lord!!
I had the kids run the dog around the orchard, before lunch, right after I got home from the doctor's office and guess what? Nathan stepped on another bee! His foot is huge again and he's limping around. The wind is blowing like crazy, so I am surprised the bees are out working today!
I had to go out and pick up my medication (because they weren't ready earlier) and we had to cross a busy intersection....across from us was a lady on her horse, trying to cross the same intersection. Tori, was so excited! That is not a common thing...to see a horse on a busy highway! She had the right of way, so she crossed, then we turned...funny!
Well, the day isn't over, but it's been an exhausting one. We have been having a series of meetings at our church, there is another one tonight...after today...I wonder what experiences we shall go through tonight?!
In the midst of all of this "chaotic and unusual" day, the kids did school and did well! We are counting down the days until school is out! But guess what? The kids could be outside playing...doing whatever they want, but they are in the school room, playing...school! I guess I didn't work them hard enough huh? Or is it that Mitch and Tori like to be the teacher and principal? Hmmmm! Until next time.....have courage...He is coming soon!!
