Busy, Changes, Life

MAPS Testing (end of the year assessment test for all of my children, state required), COMPASS Test (entrance test given to start college in the Running Start program), Driver's Test (my oldest son, this next week on his birthday!) Advisory Class (2 1/2 hours, choosing the right classes for my boy next year). Whoever said that home schooled kids weren't tested? That's all we've been doing around here!
There are so many changes too! Garhett, will be going to college next year! Me, 36 years old and I will have a son in college! Garhett....will be getting his driver's license and turning 16 all in one day next week!! Tomorrow...Sabbath...Mitchell and Tori have made the decision to follow Christ and proclaim it to the world and be baptised by immersion, just like our Lord and Savior was!!! Wow...my head is spinning and I can't keep up...........
My asthma has been out of control and we are now finding out the reason why! Our roof leaked...(long story, I won't go into details, but it has been a battle with the insurance over a 4 year period) the contractors have been out all week and replaced the sky lights with new ones (they are beautiful!) and yesterday they started working inside. In the kids bathroom they took out half of the ceiling and around the window, because the mold had gotten into the wood! The guy sealed off the door and had a respirator on and was concerned about the kids and me...hmmmm...mold/asthma...I am thinking there's a HUGE connection there. I am using my inhaler 6 to 8 times a day, plus a stronger one in the mornings and evenings. I planted 10 lavender plants on our hillside yesterday and walked back up our driveway...I had a terrible asthma attack and I didn't know what to do! I was trying to be calm, but the children were scared. I think the mold was interrupted and really aggravated my lungs. I am praying I will get better. My husband has so many hikes he wants to go on, but I have to be able to breath!! Please pray for me! I am so glad that these contractors know what they are doing and getting the job done!
God bless you all....
