Announcing to the world.....my 10th...nephew/niece!

Joshua James....

Weighing in at 7.6lbs and 20" long...

He has blond hair and the sweetest, softest face you can imagine!

The more you hold him, the more distinct his little features are...you can pick up traits of different family members in him...I think he will have Eric's layed back disposition! He is a miracle baby, a prayed for baby, chosen of God! My brother, eight years ago, underwent a heart transplant. Neither he nor my sister-in-law ever blamed God, or turned from Him. They became stronger Christians and they were actually strong for the whole family! They lived their life (and still do) by this verse:

"Faith is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see."

Hebrews11:1

Losing Granny and Gramps, so recently, was and is still very difficult. This added child to the family seems to help the pain. Oh, how they would have loved another great-grandchild! Granny, she would have held him for hours and Gramps would have called him cactus or shotgun! Oh, how sweet the words are in Ecclesiastes 9:5......

"For the living know that they shall die; but the dead know not anything..."

1 Thessalonians 4:6

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the DEAD IN Christ shall RISE first!!"

Joshua makes the 13th great-grandchild for them.......oh how they will rejoice on Resurrection morning to see all of their children again!
